The Untold Childhood Stories of Lord Krishna

By MEGHA  PATIDAR

Lord Krishna, the divine child of Vrindavan, was full of mischief, love, and miracles.

Born to Devaki and Vasudeva, Krishna’s life was destined for greatness.  King Kansa feared a prophecy that Krishna would end his tyranny.

Krishna’s love for butter made him the mischievous Makhan Chor! With his friends, he would steal butter from villagers.

The poisonous serpent Kaliya polluted the Yamuna River. Krishna fearlessly jumped into the water and danced on Kaliya’s hood!

Indra, the rain god, sent storms to punish the villagers. Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill on his little finger to shelter them.

Putana disguised herself as a nurse to poison him—Krishna sucked the life out of her! Trinavarta, the whirlwind demon, was spun away by Krishna’s divine strength.

Krishna’s love for his friends and the Gopis made him beloved in Vrindavan. His flute mesmerized every heart, especially Radha’s.

His stories teach us: Love and kindness win hearts. Faith over fear leads to miracles. Mischief with wisdom makes life joyful.
